I’ve been researching leopard gecko tank builds for the pass few weeks
Finally started buying materials !!
Things to come: Bio active isopods helping clean the tank! Airplants and live succulents being strategically placed in hot and cool side areas for gecko /plant cohabitation Cork bark background to make gecky feel at home and super cool looking
For a hot second there I couldn't figure out what a "leopard gecko tank" was and I thought you were talking about building an armored battle vehicle for the geckos to defeat their enemies with
I'm excited for progress updates though! Sounds really cool!
ooo hell ya Digigeck that's a super cool and rewarding project, i've always wanted leopard gecs myself excited to hear how it goes. my mom had one when i was a kid, she had a crazy appetite that made her big fat tail larger than the rest of her body (even when she wasn't hibernating). idk if that is a good thing, but Gracie lived to be really really old and died the day b4 my sister was born. much to think about.
i'm sure you are doing plenty of research, but Gracie taught me 2 things: first: give gecky more than one cave/hiding spot if space allows, they like to have options (shelter w lil windows, Total Darkness cave, small spaces or bigger ones)! second: be careful w worm size if the gecku is juvenile or just small, they love worm so much they won't notice or care that their body physically can't accommodate big worm!

Leopard gecko tank sounds like a fun class to play in an rpg. I should probably draw it and get back to you

That’s a funny idea ! Perhaps down the line so much more work to get the actual Gecku inhabiting!
Beware of bugs!!! If u scroll down there will be Isopods eating a vegetable (fun fact: isopods are actually crustaceans!)

Once the isopods are settled and the plants are settled. I will add two more hides and a few more touches and the leopard gecko will be ready to join in!!
