Re: Songs that pop into / get stuck in your head constantly

Frequent sticky songs for me include:

Climax by Usher
Meet Me in the City by the Black Keys
Wake Up by Alicia Keys

As a child, Man! I feel like a woman! by Shania Twain would extremely often just pop into my head. I don’t even remember ever listening to that song as a kid

Re: ITT: Fun facts

Did you know that there is no direct translation of “I love you” in Farsi? HOWEVER there are many ways to convey the sentiment including:

Jeegareto bokhoram = “I eat your liver”

And also

Jeegareh mani = “you are my liver”

:woah:

Re: 🌎 Shifting to more envrionmentally-friendly habits

I thought about composting for many years and now I’m finally doing it consistently because I’m not sharing food as much so my produce is more likely to go bad, and also cause the farm I’m involved in has a community compost drop every week. And wow I feel so good about it! The few times I’ve partic...

Re: ANY Victory, No Matter How Small

Hi @theotonic what a lovely question!

Tbh today was one of those :unimpressed: :unimpressed:  days, BUT I managed to (mostly) not feel guilty for resting/loafing/fretting. And I also supported my parents in not catching their new kitchen on fire :attn:
